Top 4 Dog Parks in Denver

If you haven’t heard, our Scoop Soldiers now have boots on the ground in Denver, Colorado, as we’ve expanded our pet waste removal services to the Mile High City! While our troops are settling in, we took some time to explore the city — keeping our Pupstomers top of mind in search of the best dog parks that Denver has to offer.

Although big cities aren’t typically known for their wide-open spaces, Denver has dozens of dog parks just waiting to be explored by our four-legged fur babies. Here are our top four dog parks in Denver, from the east to the west and everything in between:

1. Lowry Dog Park

Yosemite Way & E 4th Pl, Denver, CO 80230

With plenty of room for dogs to roam and play, Lowry Dog Park has a communal area for active dogs who enjoy socializing, as well as a separate space for lower energy dogs who prefer to steer clear of life in the fast lane. The park also has strategically located fire hydrants, trees, rocks and hills to optimize playtime!

2. Stapleton Dog Park

2002 Spruce St, Denver, CO 80238

If your pup is a fan of sand, Stapleton Dog Park should be one of your top dog park destinations in Denver. Its large, sand-covered terrain features trees for shade, benches and even fountains in case your pup needs to quench his thirst! While there’s plenty of room for dogs of all sizes to roam, it’s important to remember that Stapleton Dog Park does not have a separate area for small, less enthusiastic pooches.

3. Belleview Station Dog Park

4825 S Newport St, Denver, CO 80237

Open daily from dusk to dawn, Belleview Station Dog Park is separated into two areas — one open for dogs of all sizes and another specifically for smaller dogs. The terrain is mostly covered by mulch, with outdoor furniture available throughout for dog owners to take a load off while their pups prance and play.

4. Berkeley Dog Park

Sheridan Blvd (CO-95), south of I-70, Denver, CO 80212

Berkeley Dog Park is a top destination for both local and tourist dog owners because of its beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and Berkeley Lake. Your pup will love running around and meeting new friends while you take in the gorgeous view!
