Team Member Spotlight: Brad Duron

It’s time for our next team member spotlight here at Scoop Soldiers. Meet Brad Duron – Scoop Soldiers’ Houston Supervisor. A true outdoorsman at heart, Brad is a loving father of four who takes pride in helping his clients enjoy their backyards. Read on to learn more about Brad and the role he plays at Scoop Soldiers!

  1. What is your favorite part about working for Scoop Soldiers?

I like knowing that I’m helping people get out and enjoy their backyards again. I love being outdoors, so that’s also a great part of the job.

  1. List 3 words that describe Scoop Soldiers.

Efficient, modern and caring.

  1. What have you gained from working at Scoop Soldiers?

I’ve gained a sense of pride in my work. Scoop Soldiers has really helped me grow as a person.

  1. What do you find the most challenging at Scoop Soldiers?

No two days are ever the same. Learning to roll with the punches and think on my feet has been an interesting challenge I’ve overcome during my time with Scoop Soldiers.

  1. Do you have any dogs of your own?

My family and I were actually looking into getting a basset hound when we found out my wife was pregnant with our 4th child, so we are going to wait until next year before we get a dog of our own!

  1. What are the top 3 items on your bucket list?

A happy, healthy family is at the top of my list. I would also love to have some acreage in Texas to retire on and an old truck I can tinker with in my spare time.

  1. What is something people would never guess you have to do in your job?

Most people don’t think of the other things that can be in yards besides dog poop. I’ve run into poisonous spiders, sink holes and multiple venomous snakes. You never know what to expect out there!

  1. If you could only drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?

As much as I enjoy craft beers, I would have to pick good ol’ Lone Star beer.
