Luckily, Scoop Soldiers offers a careful and consistent pet waste removal service that will help eliminate the odor, germs and unsightly piles of waste that accompany dog-friendly homes or properties. Because pet waste removal is a rather new industry, we put together a list of frequently asked questions to make researching us a little easier.
WHAT SERVICES DOES SCOOP SOLDIERS OFFER?
Scoop Soldiers services residential and dog-friendly commercial properties, including doggy daycares, hotels, apartments, condos and more. We offer packages for all of your needs from one-time cleanups for special events or multiple visits per week.
we can also include the front and side yards for an additional charge at your request.
Your soldier will sweep and scoop all areas in the backyard including grass, artificial turf, patios, landscaped areas, flowerbeds, rock areas, pool decks, under trampolines, around playground equipment and everywhere else! We can also include the front or side yard(s) upon request. After scooping the waste your soldier will take it with them and email you a picture of your secured/locked gate to let you know the mission was completed.
CAN MY DOG(S) BE OUTSIDE WHILE YOU’RE SERVICING MY YARD?
Yes, please! We love our K-9 clients. Your Scoop Soldier will likely become a welcomed visitor for your dog(s). Of course, in some cases, your dog may not like visitors. If that is your pup then just let us know and we will make sure to never enter the lawn if they are outside and to give you a call in advance.
CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DAY OR TIME FOR MY SERVICE?
Your Scoop Soldier will arrive and take captive all the waste on the same day(s) each week. We invade most cities several days each week so just let us know your preferred day and we will do our best to accommodate your request! Need to know when we are on the way? We can have your soldier call you when they are en route.
DO I NEED TO BE HOME WHEN YOU ARRIVE?
We do not require anyone to be home, as long as we have access to the mine-field. However, we love meeting our civilian clients – including the non-K-9 ones!
CAN YOU CALL BEFORE YOU ARRIVE?
We are more than happy to call you when we’re on our way! Just let us know if you would like a call ahead and we will notate that on your account.
DO YOU DEODORIZE OR SANITIZE YARDS?
Yes, we can apply a product that neutralizes odors from dog waste, urine, and vomit. Have artificial turf? This works on that too! Our mission is to take the stink out of pet ownership.
WHAT IF I NEED TO SKIP A SERVICE DAY?
Copy that!! Just call, email, or text our command center to skip your service.
I KEEP MY GATE LOCKED, HOW WILL YOU ACCESS THE LAWN?
We can keep the combination of your lock on file in order to be sure your Scoop Soldier can always access the battlefield. Use a lock with a key? We provide free combination locks so you don’t have to worry about a key being misplaced or lost after the battle. If you would like one, just contact our command post.
WHAT ABOUT BAD WEATHER?
Rain, sleet, snow or shine, we’ll clear your lawn of land mines! In most cases, we can wait out the storm and continue battling the stink of pet ownership. In cases of severe weather, we will monitor the storm and if rescheduling is necessary we ALWAYS email you to keep you up to date with the changes.
Do you charge during snow/snowmelt season?
During certain times of the year, some markets (such as Salt Lake City and Colorado) may conduct the first scoop at a higher rate. Also, if weather conditions are too dangerous for troops to deploy, the standard scoop rate will still be charged due to a more lengthy visit at the next occurrence.

HOW DO YOU BILL FOR THE SERVICE?
Our Scooping Services are billed the day after your service is completed. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. All clients have access to their account through this website. From the website you can manage your account, ask questions, request or adjust service, and report concerns. You can also see your account balance, invoice and payment history.
DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?
Yes! As a small way of saying thank you, all active-duty military members, reserves, retirees and veterans of the United States Armed Forces and First Responders are offered 10% off all services.
IT’S GETTING LATE, ARE YOU STILL COMING?
Our soldiers work during daylight hours. During certian times of the year As long as there is light for us to see we are battling the stink in our clients lawns. If there is ever a delay we will notify you via email and your visit will be rescheduled for the following day.
DO YOU DO BACKGROUND CHECKS ON YOUR TECHS?
Yes! We do a background check on every employee.
SHOULD I NOTIFY YOU IF MY DOG IS SICK?
Yes, please do! While we already take measures to prevent the spread of illness and disease, it is best to notify us if your pup is sick so we can take extra precautions if needed.
WILL I HAVE THE SAME TECH?
To build a relationship with you and your pup(s) a technician is assigned to your account. Don’t be surprised if you see a new face though, it just means your tech called in reinforcements!
Do you need external access to my backyard?
Yes, our soldiers must have access to your backyard from an external entry point such as a gate. For that reason, we are unable to scoop areas such as apartment balconies, or homes where backyards are only accessible by entering through the home.
