How often should dog poop be picked up?
Most yards should be cleaned at least once a week to keep pet waste from piling up and help maintain a cleaner, healthier outdoor space. Homes with multiple dogs or smaller yards may benefit from more frequent cleanup. Scoop Soldiers offers flexible recurring service options, including weekly and multiple visits per week, depending on your location and needs.
What services does Scoop Soldiers offer?
Scoop Soldiers services residential and dog-friendly commercial properties, including doggy daycares, hotels, apartments, condos and more. We offer packages for all of your needs from one-time cleanups for special events or multiple visits per week.
Do you clean up the front and side yards?
Your soldier will sweep and scoop all areas in the backyard including grass, artificial turf, patios, landscaped areas, flowerbeds, rock areas, pool decks, under trampolines, around playground equipment and everywhere else! We can also include the front or side yard(s) upon request. After scooping the waste your soldier will take it with them and email you a picture of your secured/locked gate to let you know the mission was completed.
Do you offer deodorizing or sanitizing add-ons?
Yes. Our deodorizer add-on neutralizes odors from dog waste, urine, and vomit. It works especially well on artificial turf, where odors tend to linger and concentrate. If your yard needs more than just scooping, it's an easy addition to your regular plan. Ask us about it when you book.
Are Scoop Soldiers technicians background-checked?
Every team member undergoes a background check. We know you're giving us access to your property, often without being home, and we take that trust seriously.
Where exactly do your technicians scoop - the whole yard?

SCHEDULING, FREQUENCY, AND FLEXIBLE OPTIONS
Can I request a specific day for my service?
Your Scoop Soldier will arrive and take captive all the waste on the same day(s) each week. We invade most cities several days each week so just let us know your preferred day and we will do our best to accommodate your request! Need to know when we are on the way? We can have your soldier call you when they are en route.
What if I need to skip a service?
Copy that!! Just call, email, or text our command center to skip your service.
It's getting late, are you still coming?
Our soldiers work during daylight hours. During certian times of the year As long as there is light for us to see we are battling the stink in our clients lawns. If there is ever a delay we will notify you via email and your visit will be rescheduled for the following day.
Will I have the same technician each time?
To build a relationship with you and your pup(s) a technician is assigned to your account. Don’t be surprised if you see a new face though, it just means your tech called in reinforcements!
What happens if waste is missed during a visit?

Can my dog be outside while the technician is working?
Yes, as long as your dog is friendly with visitors. Our technicians are comfortable around dogs, so there's no need to bring your pet inside unless you'd prefer to.
What if I have a locked gate?
If we arrive and your gate is locked, we'll send you a photo by email to confirm we were there. To avoid missed visits, you can provide access instructions when you book, such as a gate code or key location. A quick note at setup saves everyone the hassle.
Do I need to be home during my service visit?
No. As long as we have access to your yard, we'll take care of everything while you're at work, running errands, or relaxing inside.
What happens if bad weather falls on my scheduled service day?
If severe weather is coming, reach out before your scheduled visit and we won't charge you for the cancellation. We also won't charge for any service missed due to severe weather beyond our control. Once conditions are safe, we'll get back on schedule.
COST & BILLING
Do I have to sign a contract for recurring dog waste removal?
No. Scoop Soldiers does not require a long-term contract for recurring dog waste removal. You can enjoy a professionally cleaned yard without being locked into a lengthy commitment. If your service needs change, contact your local Scoop Soldiers team to discuss your account or schedule.
Do you charge during the snow and melt season?
During certain times of the year, some markets (such as Salt Lake City and Colorado) may conduct the first scoop at a higher rate. Also, if weather conditions are too dangerous for troops to deploy, the standard scoop rate will still be charged due to a more lengthy visit at the next occurrence.
How does billing work at Scoop Soldiers?
Our Scooping Services are billed the day after your service is completed. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. All clients have access to their account through this website. From the website you can manage your account, ask questions, request or adjust service, and report concerns. You can also see your account balance, invoice and payment history.
Do you offer military discounts?
Yes! As a small way of saying thank you, all active-duty military members, reserves, retirees and veterans of the United States Armed Forces and First Responders are offered 10% off all services.
Are there discounts for multiple dogs or bundled service plans?
We don't charge extra for multiple dogs, up to four. We also don't charge extra for the initial cleaning, waste removal, disposal, or oversized lots. Those are all included. If you want to explore your options, get a quote and we'll help you find the best fit.

What if my dog has been sick - will you still scoop?
We ask that you contact us before your scheduled service if your dog has been ill. That way, we can discuss the health concern and make sure cleanup is handled safely for both our technicians and your household. Just give us a heads-up and we'll sort it out.
Can I request a call-ahead before my technician arrives?
Absolutely. Just let us know when you sign up and we'll note it on your account so every visit includes advance notice. It's a small detail, but it makes a real difference for customers who want a little extra time to prepare.
